1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using soapnotegenerator.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Notehouse ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
The Service provides an AI-powered tool that generates SOAP note drafts based on user-provided keywords. The Service is designed to assist healthcare professionals with clinical documentation and is provided free of charge.
3. Not Medical Advice
The Service is a documentation assistance tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Generated SOAP notes are drafts that must be reviewed, edited, and approved by a qualified healthcare professional before use in clinical settings. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and clinical appropriateness of any documentation you use.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Review all generated content for accuracy before use
- Comply with your organization's policies regarding use of external documentation tools
- Not rely solely on AI-generated content for clinical decision-making
- Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, extract, or abuse the Service
- Not submit feedback containing protected health information (PHI)
5. Data Processing
Session keywords submitted to the Service are processed transiently to generate SOAP notes and are not stored. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and processed on HIPAA-eligible AWS infrastructure. See our Security page and Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Notehouse. SOAP notes generated by the Service are provided for your use in clinical documentation. You retain full ownership of the keywords you input and the edited notes you produce.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be clinically accurate or complete. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notehouse shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from clinical decisions made based on AI-generated content.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
